Hello, I've got an ancient Gerber Brothers wood, leather, and canvas backpack. Is this something that the Mountaineers could use as a display piece? I'd gladly donate it if it could be used.

    Martinique and Lowell,

Please let Eric know if this is something we could use. Thanks!

    Hi Eric,

At present, the club has no facilities for displaying old equipment. The History Committee has very limited storage space. So, unless an item has exceptional historic value, we're not accepting donations of old equipment. I wish we could do more, but at present we don't have the ability to do so.

Best regards, and thanks for your offer.

Thanks so much for getting back to me so quickly on this. I'll have to see
if the Museum of History and Industry would like it or put it up on my wall.
It's definitely wasted in my garage.

I remember encountering your name before. Thanks much for the Alpenglow
Gallery. A lot of interesting history and images there. Interesting to see
that you were also at WRQ; I'd thought the named seemed somewhat familiar.

Again, thanks for getting back to me.
