Is there an age limit for participation on a scramble? Can a child member who has signed a waiver join a scramble up Mt. Forgotten in August, for example, should the scramble leader deem the child is able and skilled to do the trip?

There is an age limit for participation in Alpine Scrambles. The lowest age is 14 but may be higher depending on the maturity and ability of the child. One must also be enrolled in, have successfully completed or gained equivalency for the Alpine Scramble or Basic Alpine Climbing Course to participate in Alpine Scrambles. Please let me know if you have any more questions or if there is anything else I can do for you. Thanks!
